StudioDKP is a successful competitive and social ballroom dance studio.  We teach three styles:

  1. Ballroom
  2. New Vogue
  3. Latin American

Whilst we have produced numerous NZ and Australian Champions in the competitive fields we are still very committed to social dance programmes for all ages.

Programmes for All Ages

  • Kids & Teens Classes (Ages 5-16) – Fun and interactive sessions introducing young dancers to the fundamentals of Ballroom and Latin dance, building confidence, coordination, and a love for movement.

  • Adult Ballrom and Latin Classes  – Designed for all skill levels, our structured courses focus on one Ballroom and one Latin dance per block, making learning engaging and enjoyable.

  • Silver Steps Latin Groove Fitness (Ages 65+)– A programme designed to keep us moving and active with a series of simple latin steps to a variety of latin ryhthms including Cha Cha Cha, Rumba and Samba.

  • Private Lessons – Personalized coaching for individuals and couples, whether for social dancing, competitions, or special occasions.

Additional Opportunities

Medal Exams – Showcase your progress with performances in front of an examiner, family, and friends, receiving valuable feedback and recognition.
